World of Warcraft – How to Power Level 1 to 80 Fast!
71
The fastest you can level your character from 1 to 80 is around 5 days playing time, below I will fill you in on how you could do this.
It is important if you’re going to level quickly that you do quests. Grinding to level will take you a lot longer. There are three ways you can choose to power level. You can solo power level or dungeon power level or a mixture of the two. I would suggest a mixture of the two. (Dungeons are commonly referred to as Instances)
Things you will need…
- You will need add-on that shows the quests on your map (e.g. quest helper).
- You will need to choose the right spec for your chosen style (the right talents).
- You will need to have the right gear for the spec you choose
All add-on can be found if you Google quest helper add on. The right spec can be worked out, if you are going to solo level you need to do a lot of damage. So make sure you choose the talents that help you with this. If your going to dungeon power level you can choose any spec really, dungeons will always need 1 healer, 1 tank and 3 dps, so you can spec to fulfil any of those roles. The right gear is basically common sense, e.g. if you’re a healer your going to need spell power. If you’re planning on solo power leveling and dungeon power leveling I believe it is best to choose a dps spec.
Solo Power Leveling
When solo power leveling you need to cover all the quests in a certain area, some of these quests are time consuming and are a bit of a waste of time, but if you do them all the majority are not. Quest helper is good add-on to have as you can check your map and plan a route to ensure to cover all the quests you have in that area in a well planed out route. There are a lot of easy short quests that you will come across in little towns, so every time to go through a little town completing a quest have a quick look around to see if there are some more to pick up. World of Warcraft solo questing from 1 to 80 can be annoying, so I really do suggest doing some dungeon power leveling.
Dungeon Leveling Guide
Dungeon power leveling use to be hard, as you had to spend ages trying to find a full group. But now Blizzard have created the dungeon finder things could not be easier. Dungeon power leveling is incredible rewarding it will get you some of the best gear you can achieve at your level and the quests will give you almost double the xp you get from solo quests, as blizzard believe dungeon quests are harder. The best way to get dungeon quests is to look around the dungeons and do solo quests around the dungeons to receive the dungeon quests. As I said earlier dungeons power leveling is incredible rewarding, the only downside is that once you have completed all the dungeon questing in one dungeon you will have to grind (grind/grinding is when you just kill mobs for xp) to get to the require level to move onto the next dungeon, this is not always a bad thing, as it can help you get all the good gear from each dungeon. In my opinion this can get tiring… so I would suggest doing some solo questing as well.
The most important thing to remember while power leveling is if you want to level up as quickly as possible you need to spend all your game time doing something, no point standing around. Try to always be solo questing, dungeon questing or dungeon grinding to ensure to level as quickly as possible.
Remember as fun as it is to level from 1 to 80… The Real Fun Starts At Level 80!
